Description
On February 6th 2022, two massive bushfires surrounded the township of Corrigin. The fires resulted in the destruction of 45,000 hectares of farm and bushland in the Corrigin, Bruce Rock, Quairading and Kondinin shires. Approximately 1000 sheep, 760km boundary fencing, up to 1000km internal fencing, 19 residential structures (old houses and outdoor toilets) and 42 shearing/machinery sheds were lost. The fire knew no boundaries.
