Gimme Shelter - Humpback Whales & Exmouth Gulf
By © Pam & Wayne Osborn | Regular Hardcover Photo Book in a Gloss Printed cover with 140 Satin 170g pages
Description
Images from one of the world's great migrations. The largest group of humpback whales on the planet use Exmouth Gulf in Western Australia as a crucial rest stop on their southern migration from the birthing grounds in the Kimberly to the krill rich waters of Antarctica. This shallow and sheltered north facing bay is a largely unrecognised but critical habitat for the new season calves. Here they will rest and build strength and endurance for the long journey ahead.
