Description After the brutal murder of a young Chinese student in Hobart in 2009, a handful of Tasmanians brought together musicians, dancers and singers from all walks of life to show the best that Tasmania can be - welcoming, inclusive and all the richer for the diversity of cultural backgrounds its inhabitants, both old and new, bring to the island. They called the event 'World Party'.

Held for the second time in 2012, the event was a huge success.

All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Migrant Resource Centre, a not-for-profit organisation which helps migrants and refugees to settle in Tasmania.
